Merge PDFs

Combine two or more PDF files into a single document.

The Merge tool combines multiple PDF files into a single PDF, in the order you choose.

How to merge

1. Tap the Tools tab and choose Merge PDFs.
2. Tap Add files and select the PDFs you want to merge (you can select more than one at a time).
3. The files appear in a list. Drag to reorder them.
4. Tap Merge.
5. Choose a name for the combined file and tap Save.

Reorder pages before merging

Each file in the list represents all of its pages. To merge only some pages from a file, use Extract pages first to create a subset, then merge the subset with the other files.

Tips

• You can merge more than two files at once — there is no limit on the number of inputs.
• The output file size is roughly the sum of the input sizes (compression is not applied during merge — use Compress afterwards to reduce the size).
• Annotations and form fields in the source PDFs are preserved in the merged output.
