Merge PDFs
Combine two or more PDF files into a single document.
Applies to Windows 10 or later
The Merge tool combines multiple PDF files into a single PDF, in the order you choose.
How to merge
- Open Tools › Merge PDFs.
- Click Add files and select your PDFs.
- Drag the thumbnails to change the order.
- Click Merge and save the result.
Reorder pages before merging
Each file in the list represents all of its pages. To merge only some pages from a file, use Extract pages first to create a subset, then merge the subset with the other files.
Tips
- You can merge more than two files at once — there is no limit on the number of inputs.
- The output file size is roughly the sum of the input sizes (compression is not applied during merge — use Compress afterwards to reduce the size).
- Annotations and form fields in the source PDFs are preserved in the merged output.
