Convert PDF to images
Export each PDF page as a JPEG or PNG image at a resolution you choose.
Applies to iOS / iPadOS 16 or later
The PDF to Image tool exports each page of a PDF as a separate image file.
Export PDF pages as images
- Tap the Tools tab and choose PDF to Image.
- Select the PDF.
- Choose: - Format — JPEG (smaller) or PNG (lossless). - Quality / DPI — 72 dpi for screens, 150 dpi for general use, 300 dpi for printing. - Page range — all pages, or a specific range.
- Tap Convert. The images are saved to your files (or gallery).
Tips
- Use JPEG for photos and scans where file size matters.
- Use PNG when the page has sharp text, diagrams or transparency.
- 150 dpi is a good default for sharing. Use 300 dpi if the images will be printed.
