Convert PDF to images

Export each PDF page as a JPEG or PNG image at a resolution you choose.

The PDF to Image tool exports each page of a PDF as a separate image file.

Export PDF pages as images

1. Open Tools › PDF to Image.
2. Pick the PDF, set format and resolution, and click Convert.
3. Save the image files.

Tips

• Use JPEG for photos and scans where file size matters.
• Use PNG when the page has sharp text, diagrams or transparency.
• 150 dpi is a good default for sharing. Use 300 dpi if the images will be printed.
