Split a PDF

Divide a PDF into separate files by page range, every N pages, or by file size.

The Split tool breaks a PDF into smaller files. You can split by a specific page range, into equal chunks, or extract individual pages.

How to split

1. Tap the Tools tab and choose Split PDF.
2. Select the PDF to split.
3. Choose a split method: - By range — enter page ranges such as 1-3, 4-7, 8 to produce three files. - Every N pages — split into equal chunks (e.g. every 5 pages). - By file size — split into parts no larger than a set size.
4. Tap Split. The resulting files are saved to your files.

Extract a page range

If you only need a few pages from a large PDF, use Extract pages in the Organise group instead. It is faster when you know exactly which pages you want.
