Split a PDF

Divide a PDF into separate files by page range, every N pages, or by file size.

The Split tool breaks a PDF into smaller files. You can split by a specific page range, into equal chunks, or extract individual pages.

How to split

  1. Open Tools › Split PDF.
  2. Select the input file.
  3. Choose the split mode and set the parameters.
  4. Click Split and save the output files.

Extract a page range

If you only need a few pages from a large PDF, use Extract pages in the Organise group instead. It is faster when you know exactly which pages you want.

After splitting, use Compress to reduce the size of each part before sharing by email.
